Nature’s Original Smart Food

About Millets

Millets are a family of ancient, small-seeded grains cultivated in India for thousands of years. Naturally gluten-free and packed with protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals, they earned their name as nature’s original “Smart Food” long before modern nutrition science caught up with them.

Once a staple of traditional Indian diets, millets were gradually pushed aside by rice and wheat. Today they are making a well-deserved comeback — the United Nations even declared 2023 the International Year of Millets — as the world rediscovers grains that are good for people, farmers and the planet alike.

At “Let’s Millets”, we build our products around a high percentage of millets — often as the main ingredient. Our Nutri Bars are crafted with Ragi & Jowar crisps and made in an FSSAI-compliant, government-approved (IIMR-NutriHub) facility, developed in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Millet Research.

Meet the Smart Grains

Ragi (Finger Millet)

One of the richest natural sources of calcium among grains — supporting strong bones and steady energy. Ragi crisps form the backbone of our Nutri Bars.

Jowar (Sorghum)

High in fibre and protein with a low glycaemic index, Jowar keeps you fuller for longer. It is the other half of our signature crisp blend.

The Wider Family

Bajra (Pearl), Foxtail, Kodo, Barnyard, Little and Proso millets — each with its own nutrient profile. Watch this space as we bring more of them into our range.

Why millets matter

Good for You

Rich in protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals, naturally gluten-free and gentle on blood sugar — supporting better digestion, sustained energy and overall well-being.

Good for Farmers

Millets are hardy, climate-resilient crops that thrive in tough conditions with minimal inputs — creating better, more stable livelihoods for farming communities.

Good for the Planet

Millets need far less water than rice or wheat and grow without heavy fertiliser use. A small grain with a big impact on our planet.
